Jeanne Pinder is founder and CEO of ClearHealthCosts, a journalism startup in New York City that is bringing transparency to the health care marketplace by telling people what things cost.

She built the company into a leading national resource for health costs, in the process saving people tons of money and also having policy impact (their work was instrumental in getting consumer protection legislation passed in Louisiana).
