Jeff Jacobs, Managing Director, is the Global CIO of the Financial Institutions Group, and Co-Head of FIG.

Mr. Jacobs has been a member of the Financial Institutions Group at BlackRock since its inception, holding a variety of positions, including Co-Head of FIG Portfolios, and Senior Portfolio Manager. He began his career at BlackRock in 1997, as an intern in the Account Management Group, prior to becoming a portfolio manager in 2001.

Mr. Jacobs currently serves as a board member for The Covenant House Mother and Child Shelter, and is a former trustee and board member of The Nature Conservancy of Eastern New York. Mr. Jacobs earned a BA degree in history, and a certificate in environmental studies, from Princeton University.
