With over 35 years experience as an industry executive and innovator, President and Co-Founder, Jerry Skillett, provides Citizens Parking with strategic guidance and visionary leadership. Prior to the formation of Citizens in 2014 with the acquisition of Lanier Parking, Jerry was a long-time member of Central Parking System’s executive management team, guiding that company through explosive growth, adding hundreds of locations in dozens of cities across the U.S. and Mexico. He also created ParkROI, an industry specific process that delivers double-digit, year-over-year profitability increases for parking organizations as well as launched ParkSFO, San Francisco’s #1 airport parking location. Jerry advises office and mixed-use developers, entertainment and sports venues, retail centers, municipal governments and numerous airports across the U.S. 

But Jerry’s business acumen extends well beyond parking. He was Founder and CEO of M/One, Inc., launching multiple award-winning technology companies including SmartSound, Vicious Fishes Software, DVC Direct, 24-7 Digital, and product companies Stopain and Highlander Direct. An avid climber, Jerry has summited three of the seven tallest mountains in the world. He’s also competed and finished the grueling 2011 Ironman Triathlon World Championship in Kona, Hawaii. Jerry is a 1981 graduate of Kansas University and serves on its Alumni Board of Directors as well as the Board of Governors for Opportunity International. He and his wife Leonor currently live in New York City.
