Jessica Wirth Strine

Jessica Wirth Strine is a senior strategist and senior manager on the Vanguard Investment Stewardship team. In her role, she leads executive and director engagement on topics including board composition, executive compensation, governance structures, and board oversight of risk & strategy. She and her team of sector analysts carry out voting and engagement across the consumer and health care sectors, advocating for governance practices that support long-term value creation.  

Ms. Strine joined Vanguard in 2018. Prior to joining Vanguard, Ms. Strine was a director of research and sector portfolio manager at BlackRock, where she worked on the Global Opportunities fund management team. Before this, Ms. Strine was an equity analyst and sector portfolio manager at Putnam Investments, after beginning her career in equity research at Wellington Management Company. Ms. Strine earned a B.A. in Psychological & Brain Sciences from Dartmouth College, and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
