Joe McDonald, FA, EA, CERA

Joe leads Aon Hewitt’s Global Risk Services group for North America. In this role he leads Aon Hewitt’s efforts in the emerging area of risk management and asset-liability management as it applies to retirement programs. In this capacity he works with clients on developing and implementing strategies related to the design, financing and investments of their retirement programs. Joe has spoken at numerous industry conferences sponsored by organizations such as Pensions and Investments, National Association of Corporate Treasurers, UBS, and the International Society of Employee Benefits Specialist (ISCEBS), as well as number of Aon Hewitt sponsored conferences and webcasts on pension risk issues. Joe earned a BA degree in mathematics from Washington College in Chestertown Maryland. He has been with Aon Hewitt since 1998.
