John is a Managing Director and Head of Portfolio Management at HIMCO, where he oversees the portfolio management and implementation of the firm’s insurance, single/multi-sector fixed income and equity investment capabilities. He joined HIMCO in 2015 with more than 25 years of investment industry experience, most recently serving as Managing Director at Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Chief Investment Officer of their global insurance asset management business. Previously, John was Head of Insurance Fixed Income, Americas at Deutsche Insurance Asset Management. Earlier in his career, John held various leadership roles in investment strategy and risk management. John earned his BS in Business and Economics from Lehigh University and his MBA in Finance from the New York University’s Stern School of Business.
