John Panagakis

JOHN PANAGAKIS, ChFC, CEBS

John Panagakis is Head of Nuveen’s International Advisory Services.

John leads the teams distributing Nuveen’s products and solutions globally and is responsible for driving growth outside the U.S., drawing on the entire firm’s investment affiliates and solutions to help clients address their unique challenges and goals.

John joined Nuveen’s parent company TIAA in 1988 and held a variety of management positions in TIAA’s institutional client channel. Previously he was a manager with Allstate Insurance. John is a member of the Mutual Fund Education Alliance, the Retirement Investment & Income Council Steering Committee, the ICI Sales Force Marketing Committee and the ACLI Life Insurance Investments Committee. He is also an Institutional Investor Roundtable Board Member.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University.
