Judd Wright, CPA

Judd possesses over 20 years combined experience in the investment management industry and currently leads the Atlantic Coast Asset Management Audit Practice where he is responsible for the audits of open and closed-end registered funds, alternative investment funds (including hedge funds, private equity funds, fund-of-funds) and collateral managers. Additionally, Judd also performs other attest engagements for investment advisors such as surprise securities examinations and GIPS Verifications. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Judd worked in the Investment Management Services Group at Deloitte where he supervised and managed audits of registered and non-registered investment funds, broker/dealers, asset managers and other attestation engagements within the investment management industry (reporting under both US GAAP and IFRS).

Over his career, Judd has also consulted clients on fund formation, guiding them through the service provider selection process as well as performed operational reviews to provide management recommendations for improved efficiencies. Prior to public accounting, Judd spent three years at a large mutual fund administrator overseeing all daily, monthly and annual duties of a team performing the administration and accounting functions for mutual funds.

Professional Qualifications and Memberships

Judd is a Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania and Delaware and also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Judd is a graduate of Susquehanna University earning his degree in Accounting.
