Judy Lagrou

Judy Lagrou is a journalist at Bloomberg News. A former investment banker, her finance experience includes past roles at firms such as Morgan Stanley and Morningstar. During her tenure on Wall Street, Judy earned four FINRA securities licenses – Series 7, 52, 63, and 79. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 2 candidate and leads a CFA study and support group for women in New York City. Prior to working in finance, Judy spent a decade working in university administration where she established herself as a leader at institutions such as Duke University, the University of Chicago, and Northwestern University. Judy has a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University, a Master’s in Education from Harvard University, and a leadership certificate from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. She also studied business journalism at New York University.
