Karyn Williams

Karyn Williams is Regional Investment Manager, North America, for Zurich Global Investment Management, Zurich Insurance. She leads a team responsible for developing, implementing, and managing investment strategies across a number of general and life insurance balance sheets. Karyn has broad and deep industry experience. Prior to Zurich, Karyn was CIO, public company independent director, foundation trustee and treasurer, head of client solutions in asset management, institutional advisor and head of analytics, and professor. Her experience working with all types of investors motivated her to found Hightree Advisors, where she co-created and built a general, engineering focused framework for portfolio management that produces useful risk measures, measures that non[1]professional investors can understand and use.
