Ken Bertsch, JD

The Council of Institutional Investors appointed Ken as executive director in 2016. He has more than 30 years of experience in investment research, consulting and corporate governance roles. He previously was a partner at CamberView Partners; president and CEO of the Society for Corporate Governance; head of corporate governance at Morgan Stanley Investment Management; managing director for corporate governance analysis at Moody’s Investors Service; director of governance engagement at TIAA-CREF; and in various roles at the Investor Responsibility Research Center. He holds a JD from Fordham University School of Law and an undergraduate degree from Williams College.
