Ken Squire

Ken Squire is the founder and portfolio manager of 13D Management and the 13D Activist Fund. Following five years practicing corporate law and eight years as a PE investor, in 2006 Ken Squire founded 13D Monitor an institutional research service specializing in shareholder activism and corporate governance. Since then, he has been a thought leader in the area providing research, analysis and insights into thousands of activist campaigns to many of the top institutional investors and corporate governance stakeholders in the United States.  In 2023, the research business was expanded to cover activist funds and campaigns internationally. Through 13D Management, the team has managed the 13D Activist Fund for over 12 years and invested in hundreds of successful campaigns. Ken also publishes the Activist Spotlight column on CNBC.com and has been hosting the Active-Passive Investor Summit in NYC annually since 2010 to discuss topics in shareholder activism and corporate governance.
