Kevin is a founding member of the Leveraged Finance Team. He is responsible for managing TIAA Investments’ high yield bond portfolios. 

Previously, he served as a director with the Private Placements Team, investing in both high-grade and high yield securities. He joined the TIAA organization in 1987 as a generalist focusing on the private placement market. With over 30 years of experience investing in the high yield asset class, his views are often sought after, Mr. Lorenz has been quoted in The New York Times, Barrons, The Wall Street Journal, Reuters and other financial press as well as appearances on CNBC. 

Kevin holds a B.S. in accounting from Rider University and an M.B.A. in finance from Indiana University. He is a member of CFA Society New York.
