Kimberly L. Quinones

Kimberly is the CFO and VP for Financial Affairs for the Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation (“RIOC”), a New York State public benefit corporation.  She was previously an infrastructure specialist and Public Finance banker for three decades, as a managing director in charge of the Western Region at Ramirez & Co. and with Citigroup and Raymond James Financial in New York.  Her clients included the states of California, New York and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, along with many of the ten largest cities nationwide.  Ms. Quinones previously served in the public sector in the Mayor’s office of the City of New York and has been a gubernatorial appointee in both California and New York.  She has long been involved in organizations supporting leadership roles for women, as a board member and past president of the Financial Women’s Association of NY and California Women Lead, an organization providing leadership training to women interested in elected and appointed office.  She has also served on the governing boards of the Municipal Forum of NY, the Vanderbilt YMCA, and the California Volunteers Commission.  Ms. Quinones holds a BA in Economics from Princeton University.
