Kisha Chandler

As Director, she also oversees the Student Cultural Clubs, leads the Heritage Calendar for the Siena Center for Social Justice, and manages programming in the Center for Multicultural & Intercultural Affairs.
With 19 years of service at Molloy University, Kisha previously played a key role in connecting students with opportunities, developing academic programs, coordinating student activities, and managing special events. She successfully piloted a badging program and spearheaded Excel certification for all business students. Furthermore, she co-created a Securities Industry Essential (SIE) program through sponsorship with Equitable Advisors and an insurance-focused course.
Driven by a passion for expanding access to higher education, Kisha has actively contributed to the Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Committee, served as the Molloy Business Association Advisor, chaired the School of Business Badging Committee, and participates in numerous campus committees.
Notably, in 2023, she co-founded and currently co-chairs the Latino/a/x/e Affinity Group. Her past contributions include serving as President of the Molloy College Staff Advisory Board (2008–2010), being a member of The Common Reading Committee, and The Molloy Philanthropy Council.
Kisha has also facilitated international learning experiences by coordinating trips within the School of Business and representing Molloy College at academic conferences across Europe. Her teaching experience includes courses such as First Year Experience, Professional Communications, and Independent Studies.
Prior to her tenure at Molloy University, Kisha held administrative roles in both corporate and non-profit organizations and served as an instructor at Tutor.com. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Queens College, a Master of Science in Childhood Education, and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in management, both from Molloy College.
She is also a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) and a dedicated lifelong learner with several micro-credentials. Currently, she is a Doctorate in Education candidate at Molloy University, completing her dissertation.
Kisha is a member of the Sigma Beta Delta Honors Society, Kappa Delta Pi Honors Society, and the AAC&U Future Leaders Society, and has participated in the HERS Leadership Institute, Education Reform Now (ERN) Leaders of Color Fellowship, and IMA’s DEI Leadership Experience.
Kisha actively engages in various civic, professional, and cultural organizations, including her role as Executive Vice President of Prospanica. She is the incoming President and was a founding board member of 100 Hispanic Women LI, an IMA Long Island Chapter Board Member, and the former 1st VP of the Metropolitan New York College Career Planning Officers Association (MNYCCPOA).
Recently, Kisha was honored with the Bartolome De Las Casas Award at Molloy University’s President’s Award Ceremony in April 2025 for her commitment to fairness, opportunity for all, and empowerment. In recognition of her Educator of the Year Award from the Latina Business Association of NY (LABBNY), she was presented with a formal citation from Nassau County’s County Executive, Bruce Blakeman, in June 2025.
Outside her professional life, she enjoys traveling, reading, writing, and exploring creative recipes.
