Lara Druyan

Lara Druyan is a Founding General Partner of Private Liquidity Partners, a secondary investment fund that leverages data science to identify promising late-stage venture capital-backed companies. She is also a Venture Partner with Silicon Valley Data Capital, a seed and early-stage venture firm, where she was a Managing Director for five years. Previously, she was the Managing Director and Head of Innovation at RBC, responsible for digital transformation. Lara has worked with AI technologies for over a dozen years, starting with her service as a Venture Advisor to SRI International, a global leader in R&D whose spinouts include Siri, Nuance, and Intuitive Surgical.
Lara has 25 years of experience in all phases of technology product creation and associated change management. She is an award-winning business transformation leader recognized by Constellation Research and Banking Innovation. Lara is also an experienced board director. She serves on the Boards of CIBC (NYSE: CM) Bancorp USA, Healogix, a profitable marketing services firm in the healthcare sector, and Synfini, a computational chemistry start-up. She is also a member of Astia’s Investor Council, which promotes female entrepreneurship. She started her career after business school at Merrill Lynch in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions.
She has invested in or sourced investments in leading technology companies such as Grata, Omada Health (OMDA), YeshID, Doorstead, ClariPhy (IPHI), Xactly (XTLY), and Powerset (MSFT). Lara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with Honors from the University of Chicago and a Master of Business Administration from the Harvard Graduate School of Business.
