Laura Malvaez

Laura Malvaez is presently serving as the Chair of the Board at IWIN and is also part of BlackRock’s Financial Institutions Group. Her role primarily involves fostering and maintaining relationships with insurance clients. Previously, Laura led a quant team focused on strategic asset allocation analysis at AIG. She also has extensive experience as a fixed income portfolio manager and cross-asset derivatives trader, mostly for liability-driven investors in the US and the UK. In terms of education, Laura holds a Master of Science degree in Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computing from the University of Oxford, UK and a degree in Actuarial Science from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.
