Lauren Holland
Lauren A. Holland is Managing Partner of Wall Street Friends, the largest organic network of black finance professionals with 8,000 members and growing. Wall Street Friends builds community within the network, supporting its members in their career pursuits by proving resources and targeted programming. The company also has over a dozen corporate partners, including leading financial services firms such as Goldman Sachs and Neuberger Berman.
Lauren has over 20 years of experience in investment research and portfolio management. Currently, she is Senior Credit Analyst and Global Head of Paper & Packaging at CreditSights, an independent credit research firm. Lauren began her career in Finance at Lehman Brothers as a high yield analyst. She has also spent time at Citi, Raeburn Advisors and BOE Securities. Additionally, Lauren was a partner in Emblask, LLC. a credit focused macro hedge fund.
As far as public service, Lauren recently served as Co-Chair, Special Events for the Eastern Region of Delta Sigma Theta, Sorority Inc. and Budget & Finance Chair for the North Manhattan Alumnae Chapter. She is a member of the Advocates Board of Fiver Children’s Foundation, an organization that supports urban youth in the journey from grade school to college and a board member of Communities in Schools Memphis.
Lauren holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from The University of Oklahoma and an MBA with an emphasis in Finance and Entrepreneurship from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
