Li Tao, CPA, CFA

Li Tao is a finance professional with exposure to both investment banking and equity research. Most recently, he was a Senior Research Associate at Wolfe Research’s Regional Banks and Consumer Finance team. Previously he worked at Morgan Stanley’s Research Division on the Global Valuation, Accounting, and Tax Team (“GVAT”). Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Li was an Investment Banker, executing M&A transactions in the FIG sector. Before that, he worked at Goldman Sachs in its New York and Hong Kong offices. He also has experience with Credit Suisse and Deloitte. Li received a bachelor’s degree in accounting, summa cum laude, from Baruch College, and a master’s degree from Columbia Business School. He is a CFA charter holder and NY–licensed CPA.
