Lisa Longino is Managing Director, Head of Portfolio Strategy. In this role, Lisa is responsible for developing the overall investment strategies for the General Account, management of internal and external asset managers and the CIO’s portfolio governance activities. In addition, to setting and implementing strategic and tactical investment policies for the general account assets supporting Closed Block Business in the Prudential Insurance Company of America. Lisa joined Prudential in 2019 from MetLife, where she held multiple seniorleadership roles, most recently serving as the Head of Insurance Asset Management. In this capacity, she oversaw the Insurance Portfolio Management group, Global Market Strategies and Insurance Advisory and Solutions groups and she was responsible for the management of all internal and external insurance clients, including the business’s $400B affiliated portfolio. Previously, Lisa was the Head of Portfolio Management and served as Head of Investment Grade Trading. She is also credited with creating,implementing and leading MetLife’s first internal hedge fund. Lisa began her career as an investment analyst covering mortgage backed securities for BankBoston and was later a portfolio manager at AIG and Aegon. Lisa holds a bachelor’s degree in corporate finance and an MBA in finance from University of North Florida. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
