Lorraine Twomley

Lorraine Twomley is the Head of Career Advisory and Recruitment for the Société Générale Americas Human Resources team.

Lorraine first joined Société Générale in 2001 as a Manager in the Technology division managing projects and production support for US Cash Equity Operations. Lorraine served in this capacity until 2003, at which time she was appointed IT Project Manager for the SGAS Broker Dealer II project. Upon completion of this initiative in 2004, Lorraine joined the Corporate Systems group as the Product Group Manager and went on to assume the role of Deputy Head of Corporate Systems in late 2005. In mid 2006, Lorraine left the IT organization to pursue an opportunity in Human Resources as a HR Business Partner supporting Corporate and Investment Banking and Global Finance. In 2010, Lorraine’s responsibilities were expanded to include management of the front office HR business partner team adding Capital Markets and Lyxor Asset Management to her scope. In 2015 she was appointed the Head of Career Advisory. Lorraine’s responsibilities were further expanded in mid 2016 to the Head of Career Advisory and Recruitment.

Prior to joining Société Générale, Lorraine worked for nine years at Salomon Smith Barney in Technology supporting back-office operations, and for six years at JP Morgan where she managed technology teams supporting global reference data, US Equities and Finance.

Lorraine holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from New York University.
