Manuel Bulnes

Head of Investment Banking and Partner of LarrainVial SpA

Manuel Bulnes is Partner of LarrainVial SpA, and Head of the Investment Banking division, comprised by the Brokerage (Larraín Vial S.A. Corredora de Bolsa) and Corporate Finance areas, aimed at delivering financial services through the capital markets for institutional and corporate clients. Over the last 15 years, he has been responsible for the design and execution of the company’s international expansion strategies in Latin American countries such as Peru and Colombia, as well the US and Europe.

He was the Chief Executive Officer of Larraín Vial S.A. Corredora de Bolsa between 2003 and November 2014, position from which he led a 75-person team focused in equities, fixed income, FX trading and international funds distribution.

Mr. Bulnes has led various relevant transactions in the Chilean market, including IPOs and share blocks for more than USD 3.5 billion, from companies such as E-CL, CFR, Banco de Chile, CCU, Colbún, CSAV, Cencosud, among others.

He began his career as a broker in 1992 and worked as an analyst at the company’s Research Department. He later joined Larraín Vial S.A. Corredora de Bolsa’s Equities area as a trader, and then as Head of Equities, before becoming its CEO.

Manuel Bulnes has a bachelor’s degree in Economic and Administrative Sciences from the Diego Portales University in Chile.
