Mary Bobbitt JD, LLM
Mary Bobbitt is a Director of Society Advocacy Engagement for CFA Institute. In this role, Ms. Bobbitt works with member societies to advance awareness and adoption of CFA Institute ethics and standards, as well as policy positions and research on financial market integrity issues. She is responsible for communication of CFA Institute policy positions to societies and for gathering input from members and local society leaders.
Ms. Bobbitt joined CFA Institute from a legal background. She earned a Master of Laws (LLM) in financial law from Kings College London, her Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri, and a BA in International Relations from American University in DC. She is also a member of the New York State Bar. Mary has work experience that includes a boutique investment fund in New York, and a non-profit association in Washington, D.C. Her most recent role was at the London office of the global law firm of Allen & Overy, where she worked as a business development executive serving large financial institutions.
