Matthew R. Kittay

Matthew R. Kittay of Fox Rothschild LLP is nationally recognized as an innovative leader in Cannabis Law and guides leading businesses in this sector in their financing and corporate structuring. A partner in the firm’s New York office, Matthew is Co-Chair of the firm’s national Mergers & Acquisitions Group and Chair of the New York Corporate team. He earned a Band 1 ranking from Chambers USA as a leading corporate attorney in Cannabis Law. In 2019, he was named by The National Law Journal as a Trailblazer in Cannabis Law in recognition of a string of major deals he closed in this nascent industry. Matthew is also a leader in the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section, where he serves as Co-Chair of the Angel Venture Capital Subcommittee, and is active in New York’s venture capital community as an attorney and angel investor. He is a graduate of Brown University and Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
