Michael Mitchell

Mike runs the US Interest Rate Swaps trading desk. He joined Goldman Sachs in 2015 as a vice president on the Government Bond trading team where he worked until 2019, specializing in the trading of long-end US Treasury Securities and Separate Trading of Registered Interest and Principal Securities (STRIPS). Mike was named managing director in 2017. Prior to joining the firm, Mike worked at Barclays, where he managed the trading of long end treasuries and zero coupon bonds. Mike earned a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Waterloo in 2007 and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2007.
