Michael Regan

Michael P. Regan has covered financial markets for Bloomberg since 2007. He writes frequently for Bloomberg’s Businessweek and Markets magazines and he appears regularly as a guest on Bloomberg Television, Bloomberg Radio, Canada’s BNN television network, NPR’s “Here & Now” program and elsewhere. He led coverage of the US stock-market “flash crash” that won a breaking news award from the Society of the Silurians in 2010, and in 2018 he was runner-up in the New York’s Funniest Reporter stand-up comedy contest to benefit the Humane Society. He previously worked for the Associated Press and several newspapers in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Regan is a graduate of the University of Delaware
