Mike Slagh

Mike Slagh is founder & CEO of Shift, a VC-backed startup advancing the careers of military members past and present. Shift builds military talent assessment programs for the Department of Defense and has also helped 100+ private sector companies start or grow veteran hiring initiatives. Prior to founding Shift, Mike was a Navy EOD Officer serving the Naval Special Warfare, Counter-IED, and Foreign Internal Defense mission areas. Before his military service he co-founded TroopSwap (now ID.me), a company that simplifies how individuals securely prove and share their identity online. Mike is an alum of the Naval Academy and the Harvard Kennedy School.
