Mike Tenny, CPA

Mike Tenny is an audit senior manager in Withum’s Financial Services Group. Mike specializes in providing services related to security transactions, investment banking, complex equity transactions, stock-based compensation, initial public offerings (IPOs), business combinations and registration and reporting under the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. He has expertise working with middle-market companies across a variety of industry sectors, including broker-dealers, SEC public registrants, emerging growth and technology companies, private equity and venture capital funds.

Mike has been involved with numerous IPOs, which raised in excess of $3 billion dollars. The majority of these IPOs were Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPACs) sponsored by the investment community. Mike has in-depth knowledge of the SPAC industry and is a frequent speaker at SPAC related seminars and panels as well as workshops on a variety of other accounting and auditing topics.

Mike earned his degree in accounting from Ramapo College. He is a licensed certified public accountant in the state of New Jersey and is a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
