Mitch Oates, JD

Mitch Oates is a senior covenant analyst and head of high-yield bond coverage for the Americas Covenants team at Octus, with a focus on analysis of new primary offerings, special situations, and liability management exercises. Prior to joining Octus in 2018, Mitch was an attorney in private practice for over 10 years at Kirkland & Ellis and other firms, and served as a law clerk for federal judges in the Southern District of New York and U.S Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
