Nathan Cole

Nathan Cole is an investor with Citi Impact Fund, a $500million double-bottom-line venture capital fund within Citi. There, he sources and executes new direct equity investments across all the fund’s verticals but is particularly passionate about and experienced in Climate Resilience, Future of Work, and the fund’s support for veterans’ initiatives. Prior to joining Citi, he was a Director in the Denver office of CIBC Innovation Banking where he led senior and mezzanine structured investments in high growth technology companies. Before working in venture capital, Nathan’s career encompassed a range of roles in renewable energy and infrastructure development, including investment banking at Wells Fargo and corporate strategy at Sempra Energy.

He still serves as both a military intelligence and logistics officer in the Army Reserve and is a Security Fellow with the Truman National Security Project.

Nathan holds an MS in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University and a BBA in Finance from the University of San Diego. He has also passed all three levels of the CFA exam
