Paul has over 25 years of experience actively trading in the gold, silver and energies via open outcry and electronic platforms on the NY Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX). After many years of trading, Paul became the Chief Market Risk Officer for FCStone where he was responsible for over 100 speculative futures, options, and hedge fund accounts. He was often tasked with trading distressed portfolios during his 5-year tenure with the firm. Paul currently holds the position of Head of Risk for Vectra Capital, a proprietary trading firm, where he oversees company-wide risk as well as development and implementation of trading strategies and trading of ethanol options book. Paul has a BS in Marine Engineering from NY Maritime at Fort Schuyler, an MBA from Lubin School of Business at Pace University, and is a CFA charterholder.
