Peter Taylor

Peter Taylor is Co-Head of the Infrastructure Group and Co-Head of the Carlyle Global Infrastructure Opportunity Fund (CGI). He is based in Washington, DC.

Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Taylor was at Hastings Infrastructure for 15 years.  At Hastings, Mr. Taylor was the Global Head of Global Investments and Asset Management where he focused on the sourcing new investment, divestment opportunities and portfolio company outcomes. Mr. Taylor was responsible for overseeing a number of Hastings’ investments, including in recent years Freeport LNG, Port of Newcastle and Sydney Desalination Plant.

Mr. Taylor holds a BBus (Accounting) from Queensland University of Technology.
