Rafael Castro

Rafael Castro is the Compliance and Internal Control Executive Manager of PREVI (Brazil), the pension fund of the employees of Banco do Brasil, and one of the largest institutional investors in Latin America. He is also member of the governance regional technical commission of ABRAPP, the Brazilian Association of Pension Funds. Prior to this position Rafael worked as the strategic planning manager of Previ, was the coordinator of the national commission of sustainability of ABRAPP and member of the Technical Advisory Council of the Carbon Disclosure Project – South America. He has a LL.B. degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), a Post-Graduate Diploma in Real State Management from PUC – Rio (Brazil), a Post-Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Business from University of Cambridge (UK) and a MSc in Tourism Management from University of Surrey (UK).
