Rance Gregory

Rance Gregory is president and CEO of Northmarq Fund Management. His transaction experience includes the acquisition, development and asset management of commercial real estate investments throughout the United States and Japan.

Prior to joining Northmarq, Rance was the founder, president and CEO of Morrison Street Capital, which merged with Northmarq’s fund management entity in 2024. Since founding Morrison Street Capital in 2002, Rance’s team has targeted inefficiencies in commercial real estate markets by investing in public debt, private equity and private debt on behalf of pension plans, foundations, endowments, corporations and high-net-worth-individuals and families.

Earlier in his career, Rance was a vice president for Wall Street firms Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Credit Suisse First Boston. Prior to that, he worked in Washington, D.C. as a financial analyst with LaSalle Partners. His cumulative experience includes hundreds of complex transactions involving mezzanine debt, preferred equity, commercial mortgage-backed securities and direct investments in operating companies.

Rance received his bachelor’s degree in political science from Stanford University. He and his wife have two adult children and spend much of their time working, watching baseball and playing golf.
