Robert Mann, PhD

Robert Mann joined the OFR in 2022, after receiving a PhD in financial economics from the University of Rochester. At the OFR he works with short term funding, with a particular focus on Treasury and Repo markets. He has been particularly involved in initiatives surrounding the Non-centrally Cleared Bilateral Repo (NCCBR) market. His research focuses on dealer financial intermediation across the repo market, dealer use of funding in the Triparty repo market, and margin practices in the NCCBR market. He has presented OFR research in several venues, including the New York Federal Reserve and several internal government committees. His research has also been highlighted in several financial publications, including Bloomberg and Marketwatch.
