Ryan Mensing

Ryan Mensing serves as Executive Director in Government & Regulatory Affairs at MSCI. As the Global Head of Policy, Ryan is based in New York and leads efforts in the identification of new policy and regulatory initiatives impacting MSCI and its clients and working with the business to develop policy views and responses to these developments. Prior to joining MSCI, Ryan was Senior Compliance Director at Kroll Bond Rating Agency (“KBRA”). Before KBRA, Ryan spent over ten years at Moody’s Corporation where he held several senior roles across Regulatory Affairs, Government and Public Affairs, Legal and Compliance, including as the Legal and Compliance point person for Moody’s ESG businesses. Prior to this, Ryan was a litigation associate at Richards Kibbe & Orbe LLP and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, as well as an adjunct instructor at Brooklyn Law School. Ryan holds a B.A. from New York University in Politics and Journalism & Mass Communication (magna cum laude) and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School (magna cum laude).
