Samantha Mertzel, CFA, CAIA

Samantha is currently a Vice President in Pacific Western Bank’s Venture Banking Division business, focusing on Tech. As a Client Manager, she is responsible for monitoring risk, structuring credit and maintaining client relationships.

Before joining Pacific Western Bank, Samantha managed hedge fund relationships at Goldman Sachs in the Prime Brokerage division.  Prior to that, she worked at Bank of America in Wealth Management, working with a team of advisors and later going on work as an Alternative Investment Analyst.

Samantha is a graduate of Binghamton University, where she majored in Financial Economics. Samantha is a CFA charterholder, passing Level 3 in 2015. In 2016, she successfully obtain the CAIA designation.
