Sean Connor

Sean Connor is a Managing Director of Owl Rock Capital Partners and Owl Rock Capital Securities LLC. Mr. Connor joined Owl Rock in 2016 as one of its first employees and has played a vital role in its growth to more than $20 billion assets under management. Mr. Connor is at the forefront of the Owl Rock’s initiative to bring its direct lending platform to the private wealth space, with a focus on fund structuring, formation and capital raising. Mr. Connor was recently recognized by Private Debt Investor as one of the industry’s Rising Stars, a list of 40 individuals under the age of 40 with the potential to shape the future of the private debt asset class.

Prior to joining Owl Rock, Mr. Connor served as a Managing Director of CION Investment Management. Mr. Connor was a member of CION’s Investment Committee and responsible for overseeing all aspects of CION’s business. Prior to joining CION, Mr. Connor held roles focusing on originating, underwriting, negotiating and corporate finance transactions globally. Mr. Connor received a B.A. in Economics from Columbia University. Mr. Connor maintains Series 7, 63 and 24 registrations.
