Steven Miller

Steve is a managing director in the CreditSights group of Fitch Solutions where he puts out trend reports on the loan market and works with the team to develop analytic solutions. Steve joined Fitch in 2018 when it acquired Fulcrum Financial Data LLC where he was CEO. Earlier in his career, Steve was a co-founder and CEO of LCD, which was acquired by S&P in 2000; had a brief stint at Bankers Trust in the loan team; and was a reporter for the GoldSheets.

In addition, he was (1) a founding investor and advisor to LoanX, which merged into Markit Group in 2003, and (2) a founding investor and board chair at Black Mountain Systems, acquired by Vista Equity in 2019. Steve lives in New Jersey with his wife with whom he has two children. His hobbies include solving crosswords, playing golf (erratically but avidly), reading non-fiction, and rooting for the Giants and Yankees.
