Sunil is the founder of Abakkus Asset Management, which he established in 2018. Prior to this, Sunil was Global Head – Equities at Reliance Capital where he oversaw equity assets and provided strategic inputs across Reliance Capital Group of companies, including asset management, insurance, AIF and offshore assets.

Sunil was the founder President of CFA Society India (erstwhile Indian Association of Investment Professionals) and was the first person from India to be nominated to the CFA Institute Board of Governors. is currently Chair of the Investment Committee and a member of the Nominating Committee.

Sunil is a qualified Chartered Accountantand a CFA charterholder.
