Sylvain Vanston

Sylvain Vanston is the AXA Group’s Head of Environment & Climate Change, within the the Group’s Sustainability team. He is also in charge of integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) risk factors into the AXA Group’s product development, risk management and investment processes, as well as generate new policy developments, in particular in the area of climate and biodiversity risks. Sylvain also oversees AXA’s relationships with analysts and rating agencies. His academic background is in International Relations (ScPo, LSE). He started his career in Public Relations, then finance and SRI analysis.
