Tania Reif

Tania Reif is an investment manager at Alphadyne Asset Management focusing on Global Macro and Emerging Markets strategies. Before joining Alphadyne, Tania worked as a macro portfolio manager at Citadel and Laurion Capital. Prior to that, she led the Emerging Markets research and strategy efforts for Soros Fund Management. Preceding her hedge-fund years, Tania worked as Vice President at Citigroup’s Economics and Market Analysis team and began her career as an Economist at the International Monetary Fund. She has a PhD in Economics with Distinction from Columbia University in New York, where she earned the Jagdish Bhagwati International Economics Award for her work in currency dynamics. She was profiled in the 50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds 2017 survey by The Hedge Fund Journal.
