Thiru Praturi is a Managing Director and Head of Portfolio Analytics & Risk Management at Gladstone Capital Partners, where he leads a team of quantitative professionals responsible for risk oversight and performance analytics across multi-billion dollar investment portfolios. In this executive role, he has pioneered the implementation of advanced machine learning algorithms and predictive analytics frameworks that have transformed the firm’s investment decision-making process and risk management capabilities. Under his leadership, Gladstone has developed sophisticated AI-driven models that identify market inefficiencies and optimize portfolio construction in real-time. Mr. Praturi has spearheaded the integration of Python, Snowflake, and Aladdin Studio API tools to create a comprehensive data analytics ecosystem that enables forward-looking risk assessment and scenario analysis across diverse market conditions. Prior to joining Gladstone in 2018, Mr. Praturi served as Manager of the Risk & Performance Group at OppenheimerFunds for nine years, where he directed the implementation of enterprise-wide performance attribution systems and developed innovative factor-based return forecasting models. His earlier career includes senior roles at HSBC, where he managed a $2B callable portfolio, and Barclays, where he specialized in quantitative analysis and derivative pricing.
