Tom Higgins, the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Terra Capital, has established himself as a formidable force in the real estate sector. He has successfully developed and renovated over 2,000 multifamily units across the United States, handling projects as varied as suburban duplexes in Pittsburgh to a 1 Million Sqft Skyscraper in NYC’s financial district. Prior to Terra, Tom’s decade-long experience in real estate, at Rose Associates and Lennar saw him managing assets worth over $1.5 billion, honing skills essential for leading Terra’s top-tier investment teams.

At Terra, Tom has been instrumental in devising innovative real estate investment strategies, specializing in transforming sub-institutional SMF properties into lucrative, fully renovated portfolios. His approach combines rigorous protocols, detailed analysis, and advanced prop tech.

In addition to his role at Terra, Tom plays a significant part in his family business, co-leading Real Estate investment allocations and management for his mother, Barbara Corcoran’s Family Office. His involvement brings a unique blend of personal insight and professional expertise to the forefront of real estate investment.

Tom is a graduate of Columbia University, holding a B.A. in Economics and Philosophy. Beyond his professional life, he is a devoted father, passionate about traveling, skiing in Utah with his family, and an enthusiastic Jiu-Jitsu practitioner.
