Thomas Kennelly

Tom is a Managing Director and Head of our OCIO Investment Strategist team with the SSGA Investment Solutions Group. Tom and his team of Strategists provide advice, analysis, design and oversight of customized Asset Allocation and Portfolio Construction for our advisory and delegated institutional client portfolios.  The team conducts asset – liability modeling/spending analysis and risk analytics in support of our clients investment policy and governance framework. He has over 30 years of experience as an investment advisor, consultant and portfolio manager. Prior to joining State Street, he was a Senior Consultant at Lynch & Associates, where he advised corporations on post-retirement, non-qualified plan investment strategies.

Previously, he was a Senior Managing Director in the BankBoston Global Treasury Group responsible for fixed income portfolio management and hedging strategies for the bank’s investment portfolio. Tom earned a MBA degree from Bentley University with a concentration in Finance and a BA degree from Merrimack College with a concentration in Finance. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences.
