Victor Zhu, CFA, CAIA

Victor Zhu, CFA, CAIA, is the global head of Model Portfolio Solutions in Vanguard’s Investment Strategy Group, where he leads the investment management of model portfolios and client glide paths across North America, Europe, and APAC. He oversees a global team of portfolio managers and strategists responsible for delivering a full spectrum of solutions, including market cap, target allocation, active/passive, income, tax-aware, and custom portfolios aligned with client objectives and business needs.

Victor also drives Vanguard’s next-generation portfolio solutions technology, building infrastructure that integrates portfolio construction, risk analytics, and implementation at scale. His research has been published in leading academic journals, including The Journal of Portfolio Management. Prior to Vanguard, he held trading and research positions at BlackRock and Evercore.

Victor earned a B.S. in Finance and Statistics from NYU Stern School of Business and an M.B.A. from Yale University. He is a CFA charterholder and an active member of the CFA Society of Philadelphia. He also serves as a chapter executive for the Pennsylvania chapter of the CAIA Association.
