Walter H. Kansteiner

Walter H. Kansteiner, Senior Director, Africa for ExxonMobil, currently based in London. Walter has over 30 years of experience working in Africa and emerging market countries. He has served in both the private sector as well as government.

He was a founding principal of the Scowcroft Group as well as Assistant Secretary of State for Africa.

Walter has a BA from The Washington and Lee University and graduate degrees from The School of International Service at The American University and The Virginia Theological Seminary. Walter serves on a number of boards including The Africa Wildlife Foundation, Africa Parks and the George Marshall Foundation.
