Wei Peng, CFA – Portfolio Manager and Head of Quantitative Research, is a financial professional with a strong absolute return revenue-generating orientation. A colleague of Steve’s while at Natixis, Wei has broad experience in quantitative research and development of fixed income and equity models and tools, including cross-market analytics, multi-factor analysis, and correlation and volatility models. Wei was instrumental in developing many of the tools that continue to be integral to Inyo’s investment process today. Wei has created and implemented models and tools used for proprietary trading at premiere institutions such as HSBC, JP Morgan Chase, Susquehanna International Group, and Scotiabank. Wei graduated from Peking University at the age of 18 and earned a Ph.D. from Rice University.
