Yalitza Negron

Yalitza Negron-Rivera serves as the Head of Talent Acquisition & Recruitment for the NYS Teachers’ Retirement System.  In her human resources role, she combines 15+ years of higher education in civic engagement and career services to develop talent pipelines, support workforce development planning, and serve as a career development strategist for early career talent and career shifters.

Yalitza holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a Master of Science in Education specializing in Counseling Student Services Administration, and most recently a Master of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Her passion is helping organizations cultivate a healthy workforce through innovative programs and initiatives while helping candidates identify and secure meaningful and purposeful work. Yalitza’s unique background in higher education, talent acquisition, and recruitment allows her to contribute a unique set of exceptional skills in facilitation, training and development, career development, and coaching.
