Yvette Murphy

Yvette Murphy is a Vice President in the Portfolio Strategy team at State Street Global Advisors.  In this role, Yvette works closely with clients to understand their unique investment needs and challenges as it relates to the adoption of smart beta investment strategies.  In partnership with Global Equity Beta Solutions Research, Portfolio Management, Product and Client-facing teams, Yvette represents our Smart Beta investment beliefs and capabilities to our diverse, global client base.  She is responsible for coordinating thought leadership, positioning, collateral development and supporting the business through all stages of the sales cycle.  Yvette re-joined State Street Global Advisors in July 2018.

Prior to this role, Yvette was a Director at FTSE Russell, New York.  She was responsible for driving index product strategy and innovation in smart beta and factor-based solutions.  She worked closely with both the institutional (asset owners) and retail (ETF providers and wealth managers) client base and FTSE Russell Research to understand, design, implement and support smart beta index strategies. Prior to relocating to the US, Yvette also worked for State Street Global Advisors in Sydney, where she held numerous roles within the Portfolio Strategy, Consultant Relations and Sales teams across SPDR ETFs, Active Quantitative Equity and Multi-Asset strategies. Yvette also spent time at Goldman Sachs as an Analyst in the Private Wealth Management division.

Yvette holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Queensland, Australia.
